Summary
Lumark does not require an account, does not operate a backend server for user data, and does not include advertising, analytics, or crash reporting SDKs in the current app build.
Photos, photo metadata, watermark text, drafts, settings, and exported images are processed on your device for the purpose of editing photos and adding camera-style watermarks.
Information We Process
Lumark may process the following information on your device when you choose to use the relevant features:
- Photos you select: used to preview, edit, watermark, and export images.
- Photo metadata: EXIF information such as camera model, lens, focal length, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and capture time may be read to create watermark fields.
- User-entered watermark content: custom camera or watermark text that you type into the editor.
- Drafts and app settings: local editing progress, default watermark settings, export format, and quality preferences.
- Exported images: output files that you save to your device gallery or share using Android system sharing features.
The app does not collect names, email addresses, account identifiers, precise location, contacts, payment information, or advertising identifiers.
App Permissions
Lumark requests only the permissions needed for photo import and export:
- Photos and images: used to let you select photos from your device library.
- Storage on older Android versions: used to read selected images or save exported images where Android requires legacy storage permission.
Lumark does not request camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, phone, SMS, Bluetooth, or location permissions.
Storage and Security
Lumark stores drafts, settings, and exported files locally on your device. We use Android platform storage and permission controls to limit access to the files required for app functionality.
No method of electronic storage is perfect. Because Lumark is designed for local processing, protecting your device lock screen, operating system, and backup settings also helps protect your Lumark data.
Retention and Deletion
Local drafts and settings remain on your device until you delete them in the app, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Exported images remain in the location where you saved them until you delete them using your gallery or file manager.
Because Lumark does not maintain a user account or developer-hosted storage for app content, we cannot remotely access, recover, or delete files stored only on your device.
Children's Privacy
Lumark is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will review the request.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy when Lumark changes. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the latest version became effective.
